Engaging the Band
Fostering greater public understanding, recognition and appreciation of the history, traditions, contributions, sacrifices, roles and missions of the men and women of the U. S. Coast Guard, the United States Coast Guard Pipe Band is available to fulfill a limited number of requests for performances at changes of command, commissioning ceremonies for Coast Guard vessels and units, military balls and dinners, patriotic and military parades, public ceremonies and public concerts, highland games, retirement ceremonies, memorial services, funerals of Coast Guard members, and similar ceremonies and events in which any active, reserve, or auxiliary component of the United States Coast Guard or United States Armed Forces is participating. Sponsors for these events must fund all expenses such as transportation, meals, lodging and promotional efforts.
Should your event not require the full band, district detachments of the United States Coast Guard Pipe Band, as well as solo Pipers and Drummers, are available on request.
For information on the United States Coast Guard Pipe Band's schedule, or to submit a request for a special program appearance, please contact the Regional Coordinator listed below who serves your Coast Guard District. If no Regional Coordinator is listed, contact the Pipe Major, Drum Major, or Band President.
